How to Play 2048 3D
Picture the familiar 2048 sliding-tile puzzle, then wrap it around a full 3x3x3 cube. That's 2048 3D — instead of sliding numbers across one flat 4x4 grid, you rotate a real three-dimensional cube and merge matching numbers wherever they meet.
What's inside
2048 3D features
- Merge matching numbered cubes to build progressively higher values, just like the original 2048.
- Use all three dimensions of the cube, not just one face, to keep finding new merges.
- Keep playing past the 2048 cube itself — there's no hard stop, so you can keep chasing a higher score.
- Click and drag, or use touch swipes, to rotate the cube and view all its faces.
- Swipe or use arrow keys to slide the numbered cubes in a direction across the current face.
- Cubes with the same number merge into one cube worth double when they collide.
- Pick one corner of the cube as your "anchor" for your highest-value cube and try not to move it.
- Rotate the cube deliberately — don't spin randomly, or you'll scatter cubes you were about to merge.

Instructions
The Goal Merge matching numbered cubes to build progressively higher values, just like the original 2048. Use all three dimensions of the cube, not just one face, to keep finding new merges. Keep playing past the 2048 cube itself — there's no hard stop, so you can keep chasing a higher score. Controls Click and drag, or use touch swipes, to rotate the cube and view all its faces. Swipe or use arrow keys to slide the numbered cubes in a direction across the current face. Cubes with the same number merge into one cube worth double when they collide. Strategy Tips Pick one corner of the cube as your "anchor" for your highest-value cube and try not to move it. Rotate the cube deliberately — don't spin randomly, or you'll scatter cubes you were about to merge. Clear small numbers first so you always have empty space to move new cubes into. Think one rotation ahead: a move that looks safe on the face you see can trap cubes on a face you don't. What Makes It Different A genuinely fresh spin on a puzzle you already know, with real spatial-reasoning demands the flat version never had. Great for short brain-training sessions — quick to pick up, hard to fully master.
