Privacy policy
Last updated 2 November 2026. This policy explains what Aquadeck collects from players and from studios that publish games.
Privacy policy for players
This part of the policy explains how Aquadeck (“the site,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information about people who browse and play games. You can play approved games without creating an account. That is the normal way to use the site, and it limits what we hold about you.
This player policy applies wherever you are, and however you open the site. We do not sell personal information.
Information we collect
Playing without an account does not ask for your name or email. We still collect a small amount of technical information so the site can run, stay secure, and be improved. If you choose to create a player account, we also store the name, email address, and password hash you submit. The password itself is not stored.
- Technical data. When you open the site, the server receives your IP address, device type, operating system, browser, and language. We do not keep the raw IP address on a play record. Play and view counts use a one-way hash of the IP and of the browser session, so the same visit is not counted again the same day. Studios see only the totals for their own games, not your name, email, or IP address.
- Usage data. We record which pages and games are opened, and how long a play session runs, as totals. Recently played games are kept in your own browser session so the home page can mark them for you.
- Account data, only if you register. A player account is used to keep you signed in, send verification and password-reset email, save favorites, and attach reviews or reports you choose to send. Reviews are shown with your display name. Reports go to administrators, not to other players.
- Cookies. A session cookie keeps you signed in when you have an account. “Remember me” uses a longer cookie. A play-session value avoids counting the same visit twice. Game files are not given the portal login cookie.
How we collect it
- Automatically. IP address, device details, and basic usage are recorded when you request a page. You do not fill in a form to play.
- Cookies and browser storage. The site sets the cookies described above. A game may also store its own progress in your browser. That data stays on your device.
- From you. Name, email, reviews, favorites, and reports are collected only when you submit them.
Why we use it
- To run the site and make games load on phones, tablets, and computers.
- To count plays and views, see which games are used, and keep the catalog reliable.
- To limit repeated plays, repeated contact messages, and abusive traffic.
- To remember language and sign-in choices you make.
- To operate an optional player account, including email verification and password reset.
- To meet applicable law.
We do not use your play history to sell advertising profiles. The site does not run a third-party ad network.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files a site places in the browser. We use them to keep a session, remember a sign-in if you ask us to, and avoid counting one play many times. You can block cookies in your browser. Blocking them can sign you out and can make play counts less accurate. It does not stop a public game from loading.
Data security
Pages are served over HTTPS. Access to stored accounts and game files is limited to the people who operate the site. If a breach affects player information we hold, we will notify the people we are required to notify. No method of sending or storing data on the internet is completely secure.
Children
Many games can be played without an account, including games marked for everyone. We do not knowingly collect a name or email address from a child under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- correct a name or email address that is wrong;
- delete your player account;
- limit or object to how we use that information;
- withdraw consent where we asked for it.
Use the contact form or email hello@gameplaynza.test. We may need enough detail to find the account. Play totals can remain after your name and email are removed.
How long we keep it
Account details stay while the account is open. Hashed play and view counters are kept as totals for the game. Contact messages are kept so we can reply and limit repeats. When a retention period ends, the personal information is deleted or reduced to a form that no longer identifies you.
Changes
We will post the current policy on this page and change the date at the top when it is updated. If a change materially affects how we handle player information, we will make that notice easy to see. Continuing to use the site after the new date means you accept the updated player policy.
Contact
Questions about this player policy can be sent through the contact form or to hello@gameplaynza.test. The site is operated by Include Technology.
For publishers
A studio account stores your name, email address, password hash, studio name, and website if you provide one. New studios stay pending until an administrator activates the account. Email verification is required before the studio dashboard can be used.
When you upload a game we store the ZIP, title, description, instructions, controls, images, age rating, device labels, and version notes you submit. ZIP files stay in private storage. An approved version is extracted and served to players from a separate host. Administrators can review the files, messages, and moderation history for that game.
Studio analytics show aggregate play counts and ratings for your games. They do not include player names, email addresses, or raw IP addresses.
You may ask us to correct studio details or to remove a game that is still private. An approved game can be suspended by an administrator. Contact us if you need a public game taken down or a studio account closed.
