Terms & conditions
Last updated 2 November 2026. These terms cover playing games on Aquadeck and publishing games to it. The section that matches your account applies to you. If you both play and publish, both sections apply.
For players
You may browse and play approved games for personal entertainment. Playing a public game does not require an account. An account is required to save favorites, post a rating, or report a game.
You agree not to attack the site, probe other accounts, interfere with play counts, or post reviews and reports that are abusive, spam, or unrelated to the game. One review per player can be updated. Administrators may hide a review or report that breaks these terms.
Games are uploaded by independent studios and run in your browser. Aquadeck reviews files before a version goes public, but does not promise that a game is safe, complete, or compatible with every device. Age and device labels are supplied by the studio. They are not a guarantee. Stop playing a game that behaves unexpectedly and report it from the game page.
Your display name is shown next to reviews you publish. You keep responsibility for what you write. We may suspend an account that is used to abuse other people or the site.
For publishers
A studio account is for uploading games you have the right to publish. Do not upload malware, copyrighted games, art, audio, or code you do not own, or content that breaks the age rating you declare. You are responsible for the build, its description, and its labels.
You grant Aquadeck permission to store the files you upload, review them, and publicly serve an approved version. A new version stays private until an administrator approves it. The previously approved version, if any, remains public until the replacement is approved, unless an administrator suspends the game.
New studios stay pending until an administrator activates the account. You must verify your email before using the studio dashboard. Administrators may reject a version, ask for changes, hide a game, or suspend a studio that breaks these terms or uploads something it does not have the right to publish.
Approved games are offered to players at no charge. Publishing a game does not transfer your copyright to Aquadeck. You can ask for a public game to be taken down through the contact form. Players still have to follow the player terms when they use your game.
